Hello. I have switched many of my servers to one of the servers in the Softlayer Outlet (Dual Core Opteron 8212) to try and save money during this nasty recession. Actually, I thought it was an upgrade because I have used a 8212 before with great success. Never had a problem with it. But now I have 5 of them:

All of them seem to run very hot and eat up a ton of memory. Even when I stop Apache and MYSQL, the servers still use almost all 8G of the RAM available. I have had them tweaked for performance, use all the latest scripts, the latest kernels, MYSQL 5, php 5... I'm very concerned that they are not giving me adequate performance. Are these servers in the outlet not up to par with a regular 8212 server? Because, as I said, I've never had trouble with them before.

Is there anything you can do to help me out? If it were one server, it would not be that big of a deal, but it seems to be all five, which is a big chunk of my business.

Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
